I remember when I use to sleep in every morning before having a kid. Now I wake up anywhere between 6:30 am to 7:30 am to my little mini-me. I read an article that mentioned kids start sleeping in around the age of six years old. I have four more years before I could sleep in again, but then I still would have to wake up early to take them to school. The days of sleeping in are over, haha.
When you have kids, a morning routine is incredibly essential for a productive day. I sometimes get asked how I “do it all” (which is simple enough to answer, because I don’t) but making the most of the morning hours goes a long way toward a productive and relatively stress-free day. Routines change all the time, but this has been our routine for a while now. After I give birth to my second child, this routine will need to be changed again.
