With a blink of the eye, two years just passed by. My little girl is not so small anymore, and she is already a beautiful two-year-old toddler. I was scrolling through all of her photos and videos since she was born, and I started to cry as any mother would. Being a mom for the past two years still seems surreal to me. I feel blessed that she is my daughter, and I can’t
This past year she has grown so much. First, she started to walk a couple of weeks after her first birthday. Then she began to run and participate in a lot more toddler activities. Now she is talking, singing, role-playing, learning how to swim, drawing, painting, learning to ride a bike, and so much more. Her personality grew even more in just a few months. Aliana is a funny, independent, friendly, creative, caring, bold, lovable, happy little girl. I can’t even call her a baby anymore, also though she will always be my baby.
I am burning the memories in my brain of when she gives me the super long kisses and hugs every day. All of the times she says mama because she needs me for something. The sweet giggles when we play. The fun ways of her being creative and using her imagination. There are so many beautiful memories.
One great memory is her two year birthday. She had a blast with her friends and family. We decided to do a donut theme of Donut Grow Up TWO Fast. This theme was so much fun, and as you can tell in the photos, Aliana loves donuts. We ordered the donuts from a local donut shop and had them custom the colors and sprinkles. I ordered the cake and cookies from a bakery I now go to all the time. They made cookies in the shape of donuts. Her birthday cake was a tres leches white cake with peach, strawberries, and mango filling, so good! The decor was effortless. We just hung some colorful circle streamers, got a donut display board, placed donut table covers, and arranged some plates, and napkins with donuts on them. Everyone enjoyed the desserts and had a fabulous time at her donut pool party.
I hope you enjoy these photos and videos of her birthday. Please leave your comments below.
