To sprinkle or not? My husband and I were undecided to throw a baby sprinkle for our little boy. A baby sprinkle is a lower-key baby shower to sprinkle the mama to be with a few things such as diapers, clothes, wipes, bottles, all the little things. Unlike our first shower with over hundred people, we invited a few of our very close friends and family.
The theme I picked was Mama Llama. I’ve seen llamas everywhere! So I searched on, and I instantly fell in love with everything. I pitched the theme to my husband, and he was all for it too.
My sister helped make the balloon arch, and I created the mama llama backdrop with streamers, and packing tape. We also bought all the macrame wall decor to hang all around the pergola and tent. To add more color, we got some pinatas of cactuses and llamas. There were also some cute faux cactus plants to add to the dessert table and photo backdrop. For our guests, we gave cactus candles and as party favors. I originally planned on giving away a jar of cookie mix, but I didn’t have enough time to buy everything. The cactus candles were still a hit.
I hope you enjoy these photos of our little celebration.
