After we moved, I made one of the large bedrooms a guest bedroom and office. All the bedrooms in our new home are huge masters, so there is a lot of room to play with. I decided to decorate this corner into a space where I can relax but also use as another workspace. In the afternoon when Aliana is napping, I will use this space to answer emails and take business calls while drinking my second cup of coffee. Shelves were the best option to put on the wall since I can quickly change up the decor seasonally. I decided to go with the marble shelving since the work desk I bought for the room is also marble. This corner of the room needed some gold touches since the rest of the room is mixed with, silver, blue, and green tones. You will have a peak of the rest of the room after I am done. All of the items in this photo is budget friendly. I am thinking of adding a small rug under the chair, but I haven’t found a rug that I like and isn’t sold out. Some small items such as the throw pillow and planter were a steal at my local Home Goods store. The pictures in the frame are printouts from a couple of Etsy stores then placed into frames I bought from Amazon.
