Want a healthy and easy dinner idea that is as wonderful as real pasta? Zoodles is a massive hit for people who want a healthier option. My daughter Aliana loves eating zoodles. At her age, she would not even know the difference between real pasta or zoodles. Below is a simple and easy recipe, and this dish can be made in less than 20 minutes.
INGREDIENTS
GROUND BEEF
1lb ground beef
2 garlic cloves
1 bell pepper (chopped)
3 small potatoes (chopped)
1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup bone broth
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp olive oil
ZOODLES
3 zucchinis spiraled (can buy the pre-made package zucchini spirals)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
- In a pan add the olive oil. Saute the garlic and red bell pepper, and potatoes, cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and the bone broth. Add the pepper, garlic salt, and mushrooms. Cook all together for 5 minutes or until the ground beef is fully cooked and the bone broth has evaporated. Set aside and add the zoodles into the pan.
- Cook the zoodles with the garlic salt, and pepper for about one minute.
Add the zoodles to a bowl and add the ground beef on top. - Add garnish such as fresh tomatoes, steamed broccoli, steamed cauliflower, or bell pepper. I also like to add some grated parmesan cheese. Serve warm and enjoy!
